Nice dispenser, great floss
Review for BURST Refillable Dental Floss Dispenser Set - Juniper Berry Scent
Nice work, BURST! You may have gained a return buyer with this floss.
I purchased this solely for the refillable dispenser. On that end, I'm very happy. The dispenser is pretty easy to fill, and very easy to use (once filled). I didn't see many other floss dispensers on the market, but I'm very pleased with BURST's.
I've been very happy with my previous floss (Dr. Tung) and I wasn't looking for a change. But since this dispenser comes with floss, I tried it out and I am super impressed. It has a lot in common with the Dr. Tung floss: it has the woven, cloth-like feel that expands when it goes through your teeth. I find that BURST floss feels slightly thicker than other floss, but not so thick that I have any difficulty moving it between teeth. I haven't had any shredding or breaking issues with the BURST floss. The flavor is very mild and refreshing.
If you're looking for a refillable floss dispenser, I recommend BURST.

Floss leaves mouth super clean!
Iβve been really irritated by tooth paste coβs dental floss products either being too small/not lasting very long or too waxy/sticky, too minty so I searched for better dental floss and found it with BURST CHARCOAL FLOSS! The floss is black/coated by charcoal and has a smooth non sticky feel to it with a nice subtle mint flavor. Putting the bobbin in the refillable container (another plus reusing container) was slightly tricky because it doesnβt pop off easily and instructions were somewhat vague. After watching a Burst video on YouTube, you turn the container upside down & squeeze the edges w/ tabs & it pops off. The bobbin that came with the kit looks smaller than the pix, weβll see how long it last. Actual flossing was great, the floss really flattens or expands as itβs pulled between teeth. The floss being black shows and cleans even more gunk from between teeth/gums leaving mouth fresh and super clean. Itβs exactly what I was looking for, I highly recommend this product. Only drawback is the smallish size of initial bobbin, took one off star but that can be remedied by Burst co, should more ppl agree & comment. Happy flossing!

I love this case. Itβs functional and very pretty.
I found out that the dental floss Iβd been using for years is coated in PFAS and other forever chemicals, so I switched to brand that didnβt have any of that. The obvious upside is that I donβt have to worry about those chemicals anymore and get great expanding floss, but the floss comes in a paper case. That case is functional, but I floss and brush a few times a day so I knew that I wanted something that was more durable. I saw this case and fell in love when I saw it and after a couple months of using it, Iβm still in love with it.
Itβs easy to refill, durable and so pretty. Overall just frustration free. It adds a special touch to my flossing routine and elevates that experience for me. The floss that comes with it is great too. It was my first time using charcoal floss and I liked it.
I kind of wish they offered the case in a variety of colors as a standalone item, so I can chose my own floss (or a mix to try out the different flavors), but thatβs not a big deal and for take away from anything.

A better floss
The wife loves this. It does remove more plaque than other floss. Its woven so it appears to grab more gunk and plaque. It is also thicker so it fits tighter between the teeth. Good product and worth the $. Would recommend.

Floss itself is great, dispensing unit is a pain
I like the floss, as itβs relatively thick and has a tacky feel that I assume helps remove material on the tooth.
But man, did they over engineer their floss dispenser. Have to simultaneously pinch two small recessed levers to pop open the case which is nigh impossible if you bite your nails. Then have to remove an inside cover, then thread floss, then carefully snap it all back. Itβs so intricate that you have to download a PDF via QRG to understand it.
Compare to Dr Tungs floss where the dispenser is cardboard and youβre good to go after folding one flap.
Continued use will depend on whether my wife can use her nails to operate the dispenser unit to refill.
